RISK are the initials to my name. My full name is Randall I Scott Knutson. My middle name is Scott, and my middle initial is "I". Actually, I added the "I". One of my friends is named Adam R Snell. The R does not stand for anything which got me to thinking. Why does a middle initial have to be related to a middle name? So I decided to get a middle initial.
I was born in International Falls, MN. I spent four years in the Philippines with my parents and then lived ten years in Dallas until I graduated from college. If you would like to know more, read my autobiography here.
I am the second of five children. My parents currently live in Dallas, TX and are with Wycliffe Bible Translators. My older sister lives in Hawaii. My next younger brother is married, living in Dallas, TX and is working at an Accounting firm. My youngest brother is in college and working at an online dating service. My youngest sister is attending my Alma Matter, LeTourneau University, majoring in Pre-Med.
Lladnar is my first name backwards. I started spelling things backwards after reading Racso and the rats of Nimh, the sequel to Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. The 1 is there because someone else named Randall read the same book before me. I have contacted him and he seems to be a very nice gentleman who helps those who forget that there is a 1 in my e-mail address.
LeTourneau University has a missions emphasis week when a bunch of missions come and set up booths at the school. Other things happen but that is what is relevent to this question. I was going to check out the HCJB booth whom I had been talking to and considering. The guy there was busy and I was sitting there waiting and Ithought I might as well check out some other ones in the area. Right next store was Barry with NICS. I got to talking to him while we waited and he said that he was looking for a computer guy in Indonesia. It sounded like a great idea so we progressed from there. He gave me a hat, a jacket and a shirt as incentives. Cool.
